STARDOM’s American Dream Returns to Las Vegas in 2026
A highly anticipated return to the United States is on the horizon for STARDOM, Japan’s premier joshi wrestling promotion, with the announcement of “American Dream 2026” set to take place in Las Vegas next April. This event marks the latest chapter in STARDOM’s expanding presence in the American market, building on a history of successful shows dating back to 2015.
STARDOM first brought its unique brand of women’s professional wrestling to the U.S. in 2015, followed by the inaugural “American Dream” event in New York City in 2019. Subsequent shows were held in Anaheim, California, later that same year. The COVID-19 pandemic temporarily halted these efforts, but STARDOM successfully resumed its American expansion with “American Dream In The Keystone State” in Philadelphia in 2024, and then with “American Dream In Sin City” and “American Dream In Neon City” events in Las Vegas earlier this year.
The announcement came during STARDOM’s “Dream Queendom” event on Monday at the Ryōgoku Sumo Hall in Tokyo. According to a post from NJPW of America, the promotion confirmed the 2026 Las Vegas date.
As announced during Dream Queendom 2025, #STARDOM will return to the U.S. this April for American Dream 2026 in Vegas!

The significance of STARDOM’s growth in the U.S. extends beyond simply expanding its reach. The promotion has become a crucial developmental ground for talent now competing in major American wrestling organizations. Stars like Toni Storm, Jamie Hayter, Kairi Sane, Iyo Sky, and Blake Monroe all honed their skills within the STARDOM roster before achieving prominence in AEW and WWE.
Recent events have further highlighted this talent pipeline. The “Dream Queendom” event featured AEW’s Megan Bayne in tag team competition and former WWE star Sareee in singles action. Earlier this year, the “American Dream” events served as the final STARDOM appearances for Mina Shirakawa before her transition to AEW.
As a sister promotion to New Japan Pro Wrestling under the Bushiroad umbrella, STARDOM benefits from a synergistic relationship that further elevates its profile. The continued success of “American Dream” events underscores the growing demand for joshi wrestling in the United States, and positions STARDOM as a key player in the evolving landscape of professional wrestling. Further details regarding the 2026 event are expected to be released in the coming months.
