“Start putting some light in the dark place I was in”

Roni Dalumi, one of the most beloved and successful singers in Israeli music, returns with a new song, “Despite”, written (together with Amos Ben David) and composed, from a new and intriguing project under the artistic direction of Amos Ben David, they return to work together for the first time “A Star Is Born” (14 years ago).

The song is accompanied by a personal captive clip by Tamar Goren, who previously created the clips for Ren Danker, Jean Bordeaux, Jasmine Mualem and more.

Roni writes about the song: “Although. Despite the mistakes and anxieties. Although I do not always know what the right thing to say .. Although I miss a series of messages and conversations .. Although because of the heart or head I do not always manage to be present in the moment together with the people who are important to me. Despite that time I ruined dinner and that time without thinking I insisted on being left alone. Although there are things I have a hard time talking about. I hope those close to me will really love me though, and work really hard on loving me – though. This song was written after a personal crisis, at a time when I kept the difficulty to myself and did not let go (most of the time, thank God for the psychology that helped me so much) and also for the moment when I felt maybe, without guaranteeing anything and despite everything I was able to share .. To the dark and lonely place I was. “

These days, Dalumi plays five different lead roles in the Habima National Theater, for which she receives rave reviews (“Mama Mia”, “Bustan Sephardi”, “Od Hozer Hoir Hanigun” and “Road Signs”) and is rehearsing for the successful musical, “Intel”, Which will take place at the end of March at the Habima National Theater, where she will play the legendary role played by Barbara Streisand in the mythological film.

At the same time, Roni is also returning to the world of television and will play Tamara in HOT’s new comedy series, “Hanshi”.

Roni Dalumi is coming out with a new show accompanied by a band and the musical production of Amos Ben David, the show will include all the hits from her previous albums (“Just Two People”, “I Wanted It to Hurt”, “A Little Different”, “Send It”, “Man of the Night”, “Give”, “Hold”, “12 at night”, “Look at me” and more)

The first performance will take place on Wednesday, March, this Friday, at 14:30 in Zappa Herzliya. Special Guests: Karkokli.

Words

Now I’m fine, I was waiting for you to ask
I could not share, I could not at all
I know you knew, I went through a lot
Do not be angry that I did not tell, I could not speak

ditty:
But now the heart is open
So I came so you can take
Without perhaps without regrets
That you will love me though
Now the heart is open
So I came so you can take
For no reason without promises
That you will love me though

So for a long time we did not talk but I delayed from a distance
I know you left, I think I went to New York
I received your messages at the beginning of each week
I could not answer, I released the longing

ditty:
Now the heart is open
So I came so you can take
Without perhaps without regrets
That you will love me though
Now the heart is open
So I came so you can take
For no reason without promises
That you will love me though.

Now the heart is open…

Now the heart is opened,
So I came so you can take
Without perhaps without regrets.
Now suddenly the heart opens
And I’m here so let’s take
Without perhaps without regrets
That you will love me though
