That’s why you should consider getting vaccinated beforehand – or whether there is a hospital near the destination. After a dog bite, treatment or vaccination is necessary within 48 hours (for survival). If this is not the case because there is no adequate hospital in the area, vaccination in advance is definitely recommended,” says the expert.
