Stiliyana Nikolova won the title and Eva Brezalieva finished seventh in the all-around at the Grand Prix rhythmic gymnastics tournament in Marbella (Spain).

Valentina’s graduate Ivanova Nikolova had a solid start to the new season. She played hard and took the gold medal with 132.169 points after being scored 35.167 on hoop, 32.801 on ball, 33.434 on clubs and 30.767 on ribbon.

The silver medal was won by the representative of Uzbekistan, Tahmina Ikromova with 128,369 points, and the world champion Daria Varfolomeev (Germany), who has a total of 127,936 points, won the bronze medal.

The second Bulgarian, Eva Brezalieva, also started very well in the first three routines, but made serious mistakes on tape. Thus, with 124.469 points (33.834 on the hoop, 31.167 on the ball, 32.334 on the clubs and 27.134 on the ribbon), the graduate of Branimira Markova remained in seventh place in the all-around ranking.

Stiliyana Nikolova secured a place in all four finals, and Eva Brezalieva is among the top eight in hoop, ball and clubs.

The most successful Bulgarian football player in history Hristo Stoichkov supported the graces once again. The Golden Ball winner was at the Elena Benitez Sports Palace in San Pedro Alcantara and supported Stiliyana Nikolova and Eva Brezalieva. Stoichkov met with them personally and wished them success before the start of the individual all-around.

The judge for Bulgaria at this competition is Filipa Filipova, who was on the hoop and club body difficulty panel today.
