From now on, several departments of Île-de-France are affected by a risk of “strong wind” from 1 a.m. Thursday: Paris, Val-d’Oise, Hauts-de-Seine, Val- de-Marne, Seine-Saint-Denis and Yvelines. For the maximum gusts predicted, the west of the region is “more exposed to the risk of exceeding 100 km/h”, although the risk is not excluded elsewhere, specifies Météo France. Eure-et-Loir has also been placed on orange alert.

Southern Corsica has been placed on orange alert for “thunderstorms” and “rain-flooding”. The inhabitants of Landes, Pyrénées-Atlantiques, Bouches-du-Rhône, Var and Alpes-Maritimes will have to be “very vigilant” in the face of the risks of “wave-submersion”. These territories are therefore added to the list of departments already affected by orange vigilance: Nord, Pas-de-Calais, Somme, Oise, Seine-Maritime, Eure, Calvados, Orne , Sarthe, Mayenne, Ille-et-Vilaine, Morbihan, Loire-Atlantique, Maine-et-Loire, Vendée, Charente-Maritime and Gironde.

“The depression associated with storm Ciaran is located this Wednesday at around 4 p.m., 700 km west of the tip of Finistère,” specifies Météo France. The stormy episode has not yet begun in our country. »
