Russia and Belarus patrolled the borders of the Union State. It was attended by strategic bombers Tu-22M3 of the Russian Aerospace Forces and multifunctional fighters SU-30SM of Belarus. This was reported by the press service of the Belarusian Defense Ministry.
The agency published a 40-second video on Telegram with a bomber and two fighters. The date and other details of the patrol were not given.
Last month, Russian and Belarusian fighters patrolled the Belarusian border twice – on November 25 and 30. The Belarusian Ministry of Defense said that the patrolling was carried out, in particular, because of the increased frequency of flights of various aircraft near the state border of the republic. The head of the ministry, Viktor Khrenin, believes that the buildup of NATO forces near the borders of the republic is similar to the events that took place before the Great Patriotic War.
