Strauss CEO: Double compensation for Elite chocolate products you purchased

Strauss CEO Eyal Dror released a video tonight (Tuesday) in which he announces that every customer who contacts the company’s customer service center will receive double compensation for every Elite product purchased.

A few hours after the video was released, the Ministry of Health reported that Strauss had been informed that the results of the laboratory tests on the finished products had reached them and turned out to be positive. A clarification issued by the Ministry of Health this morning states that the results for products that have already arrived in stores are expected to arrive tomorrow, so the latest wording does not clarify whether the positive results that arrived tonight refer to products that did not leave the factory or products returned from stores or customers.

It was also written that “throughout the day, the Ministry of Health conducted an audit in which a number of additional inspections were carried out, after which it will be decided on the next steps.”

In a video released tonight, Dror says that “in the last day we are in dialogue with you consumers and try to address all your concerns.
