New titles proposed by the Friends of Sunday. The dozen finalists will be announced on April 5th and the top five finalists will be announced on June 5th
New batch of candidates for the Strega Prize: after the ten announced on 8 February, on Wednesday 15 February another twenty titles proposed by the Friends of Sunday were announced. The closing date for the Friends of Sunday proposals will be March 1st: on April 5th the names of the semi-finalist authors, the dozen, will be known, and on June 5th the five finalists will be announced. The awards ceremony will be on July 4th. Here are the twenty new titles in the competition:
