Pollachi: SDC students bagged the first place in the Southern Level Strengthening Competition. The Southern Level Junior Strengthening Competition was held at Anaka School, Andhra Pradesh. Pollachi Saraswathi Thiyagaraja College husband Ruben, who participated on behalf of Tamil Nadu, won the first prize in the 105 kg weight category by lifting 805 kg, while Nirmal won the first place by lifting a total of 657.5 kg in the 74 kg weight category. Venkatesh, Chief Minister Somu, Director Nandagopal, Director of Physical Education Bharathi, Deputy Directors Revathi and Saddam Hussein praised him.
