The International Network of Gabonese Entrepreneurs (RIEG), welcomes with enthusiasm the announcement of the Committee for the Transition and Restoration of Institutions (CTRI), which, in its press release n° 0024, decides to reserve exclusively public contracts of less than 150 million to Gabonese SMEs.

For the RIEG, such a measure, effective and applied in a fair and equitable manner, must allow the emergence, national anchoring, development and growth of our SMEs, but also revive and stimulate the hope of prosperity. likely in a normalized business environment.

To this end, the RIEG recalls its intimate conviction that it is through bold decisions, which encourage and support those who dare to undertake, who innovate and who create value and sustainable jobs that we will succeed in returning to our compatriots all their dignity and to create virtuous economic and social dynamics.

However, the RIEG emphasizes that this measure must in no way divert or exclude our companies from larger public markets; on the contrary, it must nourish their ambition to consolidate their national market shares to conquer the world.
