Thiruvananthapuram: A Plus One student was allegedly tied up and beaten by an alcoholic gang in Amburi, Thiruvananthapuram. The 17-year-old was beaten naked after pouring alcohol into his mouth. He was tied up for three hours and beaten. Scenes of torture were recorded on a mobile phone. But the Neyyar Dam police were not ready to register a case in the incident that took place last Sunday.
The student who went to bathe in the river from his relative’s house had a tragic experience. He took pictures of the child holding a knife and a machete and threatened to release the picture on social media if he told anyone.
The student says there were about fifteen people in the group. He was accused of seizing cannabis from his hand. When he died of torture, he asked for water. They provided water from the river. The student said he was threatened with being buried alive. Meanwhile, the police have started the operation to save face. Neyyar Dam police said a case has been registered against five persons.
