Speaker of the National Parliament. Shirin Sharmin Chowdhury said that Jayita is working in the marketing and marketing of rural women’s products in remote areas. Women are being promoted by government inclusion of women in small scale and cottage industries. Jayita can play an important role in creating self-reliant entrepreneurs through marketing of indigenous products.
He said these things in the speech of the chief guest at the discussion meeting regarding the activities of Jayita Foundation in the meeting room of Jayita Tower in the capital on Wednesday (July 10).
State Minister of Women and Children Affairs Simin Hossain Rimi presided over the ceremony and Secretary of Women and Children Affairs Ministry Nazma Mubarak gave a welcome speech.
Shireen Sharmin Chowdhury said that a list should be made of what kind of products Jayita’s entrepreneurs will supply. Marketing of domestic products should be given priority in this regard. Businessmen should take initiatives for selling cluster based products and services in Jayita Tower.
The speaker said that the present government is making relentless efforts to empower women economically. Every woman entrepreneur of the country should be made the best entrepreneur. He said, women should be self-reliant through integrated business ventures of departmental stores including frozen food, tailoring and fresh vegetable sales.
He said, unsecured loans are provided to Jayita’s entrepreneurs from Bangladesh Bank. Women entrepreneurs can use this opportunity to advance themselves.
In the event, women entrepreneurs of Jayita Foundation gave their opinion on the expert panel on business management methods at Level 3 and 4 at Jayita Tower. On this occasion, the speaker was given a floral welcome and a memento of good wishes by Jayita Foundation. He participated in the group photo session with the invited guests.
