Total export of Russian drones in 2018-2022 reached 600 million rubles. Among the leaders in terms of the volume of imported Russian-made drones during this period are Sudan and Venezuela. Such data are indicated in the draft strategy for the development of domestic unmanned aerial systems (UAS) until 2030, published on the website of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

Sudan accounted for 62% of total exports, or about 360 million rubles, Venezuela – 12%, or 72 million rubles, Uzbekistan – 9%, i.e. 54 million rubles, follows from the document. At the same time, since March 2022, a government ban has been introduced on the supply of drones, aircraft and satellites abroad. It does not apply only to deliveries to the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union, Abkhazia and South Ossetia. The ban has been extended until December 31, 2023, and permits for the export of BAS are only possible by decision of the Prime Minister or Deputy Prime Ministers based on proposals from the Ministry of Industry and Trade, a spokesman for the ministry said.
