Due to intense heat, the schedule was announced with a two-day break between the ongoing Dhaka League Super League games. However, the Cricket Committee of Dhaka Metropolis (CCDM) has announced the Super League schedule with a four-day break for the preparation camp for the Zimbabwe series.
The schedule for the remaining three rounds was released on Friday (April 26) afternoon. The game will start from April 30 and will continue till April 6 with a break of two days. The third and fourth round will be played in BKSP-Fatulla. In the fifth round, apart from the two venues, there will be a match in Mirpur.
Before this, the Super League game started on April 22. Although the idea is to finish this month, due to the heat and the preparation camp, the game is being held in the first week of May.
CCDM Chairman Salauddin Chowdhury told RisingBD that a four-day break was given at the request of the club.
Salahuddin said on the phone, “All of the national team is camping.” For this, a player crisis has been created. We will start after the camp at the request of the club.
After two rounds of Super League, Abahani Limited is on the verge of winning the trophy. Out of the 17 called up for the preparation camp, 10 are Abahani cricketers. The club was in trouble when the third round started.
