New Delhi: According to the Supreme Court’s instructions, SBI has provided information on election bonds. Forwarded to the Election Commission.
Details of bonds and accepted parties are given separately. The Election Commission confirmed that they have been received at 7.17 pm on Tuesday. However, it is not clear who gave the bond to each political party as the information is not aggregated.
SBI takes time to integrate information. The court rejected the petition on Monday and directed to give them as they are. The court had directed the SBI to hand over the information within working hours on Tuesday and the Election Commission to publish it on the website by 5 pm on Friday. The Supreme Court canceled the election bond scheme brought by the Modi government on February 15.
