Suresh Gopi Urges Focus on Development, Dismisses “Gold and Pregnancy†as Election Distractions

Muralidharan spoke badly about me,I said that it was not Muralichettan.â€

Development should be discussed, not gold and pregnancy cases,†he declared. He questioned the motives behind bringing up a past “copper controversy†during his previous election cycle, stating, “What brought the copper controversy during my election?â€
Gopi articulated a clear vision for his campaign, centered on promoting development and responding to the desires of the electorate. “My opinion is to seek votes by promoting development. And people want only development issues,†he explained. He reiterated his commitment to this focus, stating, “I am not here to discuss gold and pregnancy cases. I can’t leave the development focus.†He further clarified his position by referencing the 2024 elections, asking, “Didn’t Copper make the case when facing the 2024 elections? Did I say anything about that? It was a family vow. Did I collect it from someone’s hand?â€
