For Malayalees, Vishu is a time of celebration, as is New Year in Tamil Nadu. Many movie stars have taken to social media to wish their fans a Happy New Year. Now, a video posted by actor Surya wishing his fans a Happy New Year has gone viral.

The specialty of the sun is the New Year greetings which are very different. In the video, Surya greets everyone as he walks down the aisle with a bull.

Surya is currently acting in the movie ‘Vadivasal’ directed by Vetrimaran with a jellybean background. Indications are that the video shows the sun pushing the bull from the location. Surya last acted in Pandiraj’s Opposite Thuninthavan.

Prior to that, the films Surarai Potr and Jai Bhim were released on ODT and were critically acclaimed. C. Vetrimaran Vadivasal is based on the novel by Chellappa. Vadivasal is another film directed by Vetrimaran after Pollathavan, Aadukalam, Visaranai, Vadachennai, Asuran and Viduthalai.
