My bets were successful and as I wrote in the previous column, Maor Shoshan is the first deposed of the season who was elected by a majority of votes in the tribal council. And to be honest, I don’t feel sorry for him, because he brought it on himself. His dominance and power was not pleasant for the members of the tribe and did not go over well on the screen.
I felt uncomfortable watching him on the island and at the tribal council. Shoshan made too much noise and too fast, tried to stand out and dominate before the game even started and sealed his cruel fate. Shushan is an example of everything that should not be done in survival in order not to find yourself quickly eliminated from the game.
But if we try for a second not to judge his aggression or attempts to be the manipulator of the season, his anger was quite legitimate. Shoshan resented that four survivors in his clan had already arrived connected from home. This automatically put him on the attack. The game started with the balance tipped in the direction of one group in the tribe, and I’m talking about the three young women in the tribe Maya Kay, Dorin Dotan, and Sapir Keshti who are friends and acquaintances from real life outside, and Nebo Shamir who is an acquaintance of Dorin Dotan’s husband.

It is very difficult to fight against a united quartet from home who look out for each other. This is probably the reason why Dorin Dotan came with arrogance and domineeringness that even in her case does not cross the screen, but unlike Shushan she is protected by her friends from home. It’s a shame that the survivors did not unite against the production and announced that they would not continue the game in light of the interpersonal relationships that came from the house. I would be happy to hear for once in the history of reality shows, that the participants in it, cultivate a backbone and fight for their rights, and do not wait to see if they will be kicked out of the game and only then voice their disgruntled voice.
And the more I delve into it, I can’t understand what caused the production to take such an extreme step, and unfair to the rules of the game. There is a lack of castings and options for various survivors who are interested in participating in a reality show, who actually chose friends and acquaintances from home? Oh well, let’s get through that too.
And despite the united group, the members of the tribe still had every reason to oust Shoshan, who also turned out to be far from being a great strategist and slapped the contestants with the whole ugly truth (the truth in his eyes). He also made a mistake when he tried to convince the survivor Casey, the most cordial and pleasant who came to the island, in a moment of crisis, to withdraw from the game and return to her home.
And what did he think to himself that she was so naive and stupid that she would take his advice, and withdraw from the game, thereby securing his place on the island for another three days. A transparent move that a kindergarten child would have picked up on in a second. Maor slept with him the night before, and to join the strong group of girls, she made a final decision to oust him as soon as he tried to convince her to quit the game.
And let’s go back to Doreen Dotan for a second. I like strong women, I like leading women, but Doreen Dotan does it arrogantly and arrogantly when she tramples others along the way. And this is not the way, a strong woman should not show off her feathers, and certainly not use them.
