Suriya and Jyothika’s production company 2D Entertainment is foraying into Bollywood as well. The banner is also involved in the production of Sudha Konkara’s Soorarai Potrin starring Suriya. There are also reports that they are thinking of investing more in Bollywood. Even so, it was in the news that Surya moved from Chennai to Mumbai with his family. Now he has acquired a second residence there. India Glitz reports that Suriya has recently bought a luxury flat worth 70 crores.
Suriya also owns a luxury flat in an area where big businessmen and film stars live in Mumbai. The area of the residence is 9000 square feet. The flat has a separate garden and parking facility for several cars. But this flat is being prepared for his mother, father, younger brother, actor Karthi and other family members to stay when they arrive in Mumbai, according to the report. It will be a place to celebrate children’s birthdays and other family gatherings. There were also reports that Surya moved to Mumbai with her family for her daughter Diya’s education.
Suriya’s last solo hero film is Etrakum Thuninthavan directed by Pandiraj. But last year’s cameo in the Kamal Haasan film Vikram gave Suriya even more mileage. The role of Rolex, an underworld leader, was one of a kind that Suriya had never played before.
