One of the detainees is known as C-4, who was captured by the Guatemalan PNC, in that territory and was transferred to the San Cristóbal border, from Santa Ana, this same Friday.

Gustavo Villatoro, Minister of Security and Justice, gave details of the detainees and the coordinated operations of the national and international authorities. “Specialized elements of the Police have participated,” said the official.

The Attorney General, Rodolfo Delgado, said that in the next few hours the relevant requirement will be presented for the crime of Aggravated Homicide and, eventually, he will request a sentence that would range between 30 and 50 years in prison.

The main suspect, who would have shot the agent, was identified as Salvador Enrique Portillo Landaverde (El C-4); the other two captured are Francis Antonio Gómez Calderón and José Armando Ochoa Gutiérrez.
