The appointment was fixed this Friday, at 8 am, in the office of the Minister of Sports, the Olympic and Paralympic Games, avenue de France, in the XIIIth arrondissement. If the cabinet of Amélie Oudéa-Castéra spoke soberly of an “invitation”, the interview of the minister with Noël Le Graët, the president of the French Football Federation (FFF) and Florence Hardouin, the DG of the instance, will not be limited to evoking the World Cup in Qatar and the health of the Blues. “I don’t receive them to have tea, I don’t receive them to be told that everything is fine. I receive them because I need to listen to what they have to say,” explains Amélie Oudéa-Castéra.

A week ago, the magazine So Foot had published a long investigation describing serious abuses within the FFF, and in particular subjects of harassment, sexism and alcohol problems. According to the magazine, employees or ex-employees of the FFF have received sexual messages from the president, Noël Le Graët, 80 years old. The federation announced, this Thursday, “with the unanimous support of its executive committee”, the filing of a “defamation complaint against the magazine So Foot because of the seriously defamatory accusations contained in its edition of September 8, 2022, which have widely reported by the press.

“I am not minimizing anything that has been returned by So Foot and I will do what is necessary to shed light on the situation until the end”, specifies the Minister in an interview granted to Parisian – Today in France.
