Thiruvananthapuram: On the same day that the KSRTC Swift started running, the drivers were removed from service in all the three incidents where the bus collided. The accident happened within 24 hours of the services being flagged off. The action was taken following an assessment by the internal committee that the fall on the part of the drivers in the accident was not minor.
The accidents took place on April 11 at 11 pm in Kallambalam in Thiruvananthapuram district and on April 12 at 10.25 am in Kottakkal in Malappuram district.
