The 2024 edition of the T20 World Cup will be held in the United States this year. The trophy tour of this upcoming tournament has started today from Tuesday. Two-time T20 World Cup winner Chris Gayle and USA bowler Ali Khan inaugurated the World Cup Trophy Tour at the Empire State Building in New York.

The World Cup trophy will travel to a total of 15 countries across four continents. During this time, photoshoots will be held at the famous trophy locations of each country. Apart from the 15 countries, the World Cup trophy will go to the emerging cricket playing countries of the Americas – Argentina, Brazil and Canada to engage the cricket fans and fans of the countries.

The T20 World Cup will start in the United States from June 1 for the first time. The matches of the USA phase will be held in three venues. There will be eight matches in New York. The remaining eight matches will be played four each in the remaining two venues.

The 2024 T20 World Cup co-hosts West Indies will play matches in Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Guyana, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent, the Grenadines and Trinidad and Tobago.

Details of Trophy Tour from March 18 to April 20:
March 18 to 20: New York.
March 21-23: Houston, Grand Prairie and Dallas.
March 26-27: Buenos Aires.
March 28-29: Sao Paulo.
April 3-4: Jamaica.
April 13-14: Barbados.
April 17-18: Antigua and Barbuda.
April 19-20: Saint Lucia.
