Everything is calm on the Tavush border, Tavush Marz Governor Hayk Chobanyan told reporters today.
“We are not discussing any border changes, we don’t have any information,” he said.
As for the visit of Russian soldiers to the region, the governor said that it is permanent and related to the functions of the Ministry of Defense.

He insisted that there will be no handover of territories from Tavush marz.
“I rule out the process of handing over regions of Tavush marz, if there is any danger on the border of Tavush marz, I will be the first to stand on that border to neutralize the danger,” said the governor.
According to Hayk Chobanyan, the announcements related to the transfer of borders and territories have a negative impact on the investment environment in the region.
