Minister K.N. Nehru said that the sewage pipes are broken in many places and there is a need to set up a pumping station, and a detailed project report is being prepared.
He said that sewage pumping stations are being set up in Madhavaram, Mukappher, Otteri, Koratur, DP Chatram, Vadapalani, Thiagaraya Nagar and Rs 100 crore has been earmarked to solve the sewage problem in various parts of Chennai.
