Chennai: A heated discussion was held between the Chief Minister and the Leader of the Opposition regarding the law and order situation in Tamil Nadu.
The debate on the Governor’s speech is going on today (January 11) in the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly session. After the question time, the opposition leader Edappadi Palaniswami stood up and accused that there is a breakdown of law and order in Tamil Nadu.
Responding to this, Chief Minister M.K.Stalin said, “The Leader of the Opposition is saying that law and order has broken down. I have put a list of law and order issues that happened during the AIADMK regime. Botham should not say it in general and say it with evidence.”
Following this, the AIADMK members walked out of the Assembly protesting the Chief Minister’s response on law and order.
