Tamil Nadu party’s refusal to register federation – resolution at Batticaloa meeting

The Tamil National Federation, the main party of the federation, is adamant that it will not register the Tamil National Federation as a political party.

In the party’s Central Executive Committee meeting held yesterday in Batticaloa, it was decided not to register the federation.

Request by the partner parties

The leaders of the partner parties Relo and Blot had demanded that steps be taken to register the Tamil National Federation as a political party.

However, a decision was made by the people who attended the meeting of Tamil Nadu that the federation will not be registered as a political party.

It has been decided in this meeting that the steps to register the Tamil National Federation formed by the LTTE were not carried out even during their time and therefore they will not continue to take steps to register the federation.
