Tamil News | Petition by painters association to set up a separate welfare committee

In Kallakurichi-Kallakurichi, the Tarakori Painters Workers’ Welfare Association filed a petition in the collector’s office with various demands and requirements.

A petition submitted by more than 50 Kallakurichi District Painters Workers Welfare Association Executives to the Collector:

Free accident insurance for all workers, free medical check-up once in six months, free construction welfare identity card. Providing painting work in government buildings in the district to nearby workers. Providing interest free loan up to Rs.1 lakh to workers, setting up separate welfare board for painting workers. Issuance of free house plot. Rs. 5000 should be given as pension to painting workers above 60 years of age.
