Coimbatore: ‘Tamanna’, a young girl wanted by the Coimbatore police, has again posted a ‘video’ on social media. Police are trying to arrest him.

Gokul, 25, was murdered near Coimbatore Court complex on 13th of last month. In this, the police arrested the people involved. They are looking for one more.

It was revealed that the killing took place in a clash between rowdy factions on Instagram. When the police monitored social media to nab the raiders, there were videos of a young woman ‘posing’ with a cigarette, a machete and a gun.

The videos were released on the Instagram page ‘Friends Call Me Tamanna’. A ganja case was registered against the woman, Vinodini (A) Tamanna, 23, from Virudhunagar in 2021 at the Beelamedu police station. Investigation revealed that he regularly posted videos inciting violence and was a major cause of clashes between rowdy factions. When the police tried to arrest him, he absconded. The Coimbatore Ramanathapuram police have registered a new case against him and Viku Shanmugam.

After learning that the police were looking for her, Tamanna posted a video on her Instagram page yesterday. Tamanna says in the video that ‘the video with the weapons was taken two years ago’ and has also said that she is pregnant. The police have tried to block the Instagram pages involved. In order to arrest him, police search has been intensified in Tirupur, Virudhunagar and other places.
