Tamra Judge Addresses Affair Rumors, Accuses Bravo of Villainizing Her

BravoS “Real Housewives of Orange County” star Tamra Judge addressed swirling rumors of infidelity within the cast, while also voicing frustrations with her portrayal on the show, during a recent appearance on SiriusXM’s Jeff Lewis Live on November 21. Judge, 58, also touched on co-star dynamics and alleged selective editing by producers.

judge dismissed claims of an affair involving one of the RHOC husbands, initially brought to light by Ana Quincoces, 60, at BravoCon. “I don’t believe that,” she stated, adding that Quincoces had previously made unsubstantiated claims about her personal life. “Ana was out there saying that I never went to the hospital when Teddi was sick so … sometimes people don’t fact-check and say things that aren’t necessarily true.”

The reality star then shifted focus to her dissatisfaction with how the show depicts her life. “We don’t show my businesses. We hardly show any of my home life,” Judge explained. “It’s things that I honestly would like to change. I think it would show a different side to me. I think it would show a softer side to me.” She lamented that her requests for more balanced coverage have been ignored, stating, “It’s not up to me because I want it and I’ve been wanting it.”

Judge highlighted a perceived double standard in production choices, pointing to the portrayal of other “Housewives” franchises. Did you know?-On [The Real Housewives of Potomac], thay’re opening cannabis companies, and I was told way back when, when I opened mine up six years ago, ‘Oh, well, the laws are a little not clear and we don’t want to get in trouble,'” she noted.”And I’ve had it for six years, but there’s been no talk about it.”

the lack of attention given to her podcast, Two Ts in a Pod with Teddi Mellencamp, 44, also drew her criticism. Pro tip:-It’s about Housewives shows, and it would be breaking the fourth wall … but we’re breaking the fourth wall all the time,” Judge said. “And they use my clips if I say … something bad.” She believes producers strategically utilize her more controversial moments.

judge feels deliberately “typecast as the villain,” with producers actively seeking to portray her in a negative light. “All they want to show is a heightened me and a fighting me,” she asserted. She further alleged that accusations against her – specifically regarding leaking details to bloggers – were manufactured after filming concluded. “This case was built within one week after we stopped filming. If it was something going on all season long, then I would understand,” she stated. “Unless production believes or Bravo truly believes I did [leak information to bloggers], and they just want to slap me on my hand, I don’t know. There’s so many unanswered things that I don’t think I’ll ever get an answer to.”

Adding another layer to the drama, Judge acknowledged reports of Emily Simpson communicating with bloggers, stating, “it came out recently that Emily was talking with bloggers” and adding, “everybody’s done it.”

Reader question:-Judge expressed disappointment with Heather Dubrow, 56, for not offering stronger support during the season 19 reunion, despite Dubrow’s public defense of her at BravoCon. “I agree,” Judge replied when podcast host Jeff Lewis, 55, suggested Dubrow should have been more vocal in her support.

The ongoing tensions highlight the complex dynamics between cast members and the powerful influence of production on shaping narratives within the “Real Housewives” universe.
