BNP Paribas Cardif has appointed Tania Salguero as director of operations (COO) and director of transformation for the Iberian market.
Salguero thus assumes the entire operational, organizational and IT area of BNP Paribas Cardif in Spain and Portugal. The executive has more than 20 years of experience in the financial and insurance sectors in Latin America.
Since 2021, the executive has held the position of regional operations director for Latin America at BNP Paribas Cardif, although she has been with the company since 2009. She has held the positions of vice president of operations and technology and vice CEO of the insurance division in Colombia . She later became director of efficiency, technology and transformation in Chile.
Salguero is an industrial engineer from the Francisco José de Caldas District University, in Bogotá (Colombia). She also has various postgraduate studies in business administration and leadership.
