A new haven for those seeking inner peace and physical vitality has opened its doors in Milan. TAO MILANO, a dedicated center for oriental disciplines including yoga, Tai Chi, and martial arts, promises a unique approach to wellness led by internationally recognized masters.
The center, located at via G. Govone 67, aims to be more than just a fitness studio. It’s envisioned as a sanctuary – a welcoming environment bathed in light and silence, deliberately designed to escape the impersonal atmosphere often found in traditional gyms.

TAO MILANO offers a diverse program catering to practitioners of all skill levels, from beginners to seasoned experts. The curriculum encompasses a range of disciplines designed to nurture both physical and mental well-being:

- Vinyasa Yoga: A dynamic and fluid practice designed to cultivate energy and creativity.
- Yin Yoga: A meditative and deeply restorative practice promoting regeneration.
- Krama Yoga: A progressive and powerful style building strength and stability.
- Yoga Nidra: A guided meditation technique dedicated to profound relaxation.
- Pilates: A method focused on improving posture and body control.
- Tai Chi and Ju Jitzu: Disciplines combining movement, concentration, and self-discipline.
Beyond regular courses, TAO MILANO will host thematic workshops, masterclasses, and seminars featuring guest teachers from around the globe.
A Vision Rooted in Authenticity
The project is the brainchild of Emilio Manzottifounder and driving force behind TAO MILANO. According to Manzottifounder, the center’s core mission is to provide “a space where you can slow down, breathe and find balance. In a world that runs too fast, every person deserves to feel good. TAO MILANO is our answer: a space made of heart, respect and authenticity, where everyone can find themselves.”
Gabriella Dombi, a teacher with extensive experience in Italy and abroad and a facilitator of Kundalini Activation, will oversee the yoga courses. She emphasized the center’s commitment to a holistic approach, stating that TAO MILANO will place significant emphasis on both “the tantric part, which explores creativity and connection with the essence, and the Buddhist vision, which invites awareness of the body and oneself.” She envisions the center as “a place of constant search for physical and mental well-being, balance and joy.”
An Oasis of Well-being in the City
TAO MILANO boasts spacious and bright rooms, an inviting internal garden, and environments specifically designed to foster concentration and harmony. The center’s team of instructors brings a wealth of international experience, with educators hailing from locations such as Canada and New York, and several being published authors in their respective fields. This collective expertise positions TAO MILANO as a true oasis of well-being within the bustling city of Milan.
