Tata Motors has launched its Ultros DCT variant in the Indian market. New Tata Ultros DCT priced at Rs. 8.10 lakhs. Its top end model is priced at Rs. 9.90 lakhs. All prices are quoted on ex-showroom basis.
For the first two years after its launch in India, the Tata Ultros was sold exclusively on the manual gearbox option. Available in three engine options, the Tata Ultros is now available with a DCT gearbox option. The new DCT gearbox is powered by a 1.2 liter petrol engine.
The new Tata Ultros DCT is available in seven variants. These include two Dark Edition models. 86 hp with the new 6-speed DCT gearbox. Powered by a 1.2 liter NA petrol engine. The new Tata Ultros DCT model is priced at Rs. 1 lakh 7 thousand has been overstated.

The new 6-speed dual-clutch gearbox is offered only on the 1.2-liter, 3-cylinder NA petrol engine option. This engine produces 86 hp. Capacity, 113 Newton meters expressing torque. The new Tata Ultros DCT variant weighs up to 20 kg more than its manual versions. Pedal shifters are not provided as in the Hyundai i20 N line variants. However, manual mode and gear lever are provided.
Tata Motors has announced that the new DCT gearbox will be specially developed for Indian weather and roads. The Tata Ultros DCT variant features gearbox shift-by-wire technology. The Tata Ultros diesel variants continue to be sold immediately with a manual gearbox.
The new Tata Ultros DCT model is available in the Indian market in XM +, XT, XZ, XZ (O) and XZ + variants. The new DCT model features are provided in the same way as in its manual variant.
