More than 100 entities were invited to the Google Day fair, which was hosted by the mega technology company, Google, and the Salvadoran company Applaudo, who showed the benefits of digitizing institutions and the benefits that this will bring for Salvadorans.
Carrying out procedures through digital windows, from anywhere in the world, is one of the main demands that users have, since this saves them time and money, something that the Government of President Bukele has already begun to implement in institutions.
“This event will allow each institution to form a work idea, to create their portfolio of very good solutions and ideas that will help them in their transformation,” remarked the commercial manager at Applaudo Studios for the Government segment, Kevin Platero.
During the event, forums were held in which topics such as the challenges in innovation in the public sector and the impact these efforts have on the population were addressed. In addition, approaches, training and presentations of cybersecurity tools and “data analytics” were promoted, in addition to a workshop in which participants learned to create a development and digital transformation plan in their environments.
Platero highlighted the efforts that the Government is making with the alliance signed with Google, which he considers to be an important accelerator to fulfill the country’s transformation. “We are excited to be part of the transformation effort, Salvadoran talent is developing and allows us to use what we have learned in 10 years to be able to transfer it to our nation,” he stressed.
