The Technical Chamber of Greece took the initiative to offer the children of a number of its members the opportunity to systematically practice basketball during the summer season.
After the great success and acceptance of the 1st Elite Basketball Camp which took place in Athens and Thessaloniki in the summer of 2023, with the recommendation of the President, decision of the Steering Committee, support of TMEDE and co-organization with the Basketball Academy Club, it offers the 2024 on the same occasion, in even more cities.
With this in mind, the possibility of free participation in the 2nd TEE – TMEDE – BAC ELITE BASKETBALL SUMMER CAMP 2024 in Athens, Thessaloniki, Ioannina, Xanthi, Larissa, Heraklion is provided for up to 330 children (80 in Athens, from 50 in the other cities) engineers – members of the TEE.

The 2nd TEE – TMEDE – BAC ELITE BASKETBALL SUMMER CAMP 2024 will give an opportunity to the child engineers of TEE members to practice intensively with the program curated by the Academy coaches.
THE Basketball Academy Club has created its own tradition in organizing summer events CAMP for kids who play basketball.
PERFORMANCE DAYS
The Camp will be held in six periods, one per city:
1st Period: Athens 17 – 21 / 06 (80 people)
2nd Period: Thessaloniki 24 – 28 / 06 (50 people)
3rd Period: Ioannina 01 – 05 / 07 (50 people)
4th Period: Xanthi 08 – 12 / 07 (50 people)
5th Period: Larisa 15 – 19 / 07 (50 people)
6th Period: Heraklion 29 / 07 – 02 / 08 (50 people)
Note: the mentioned number of people may be adjusted depending on the interest.
AGES
In the 2nd TEE – TMEDE – BAC ELITE BASKETBALL SUMMER CAMP 2024 children can participate, boys and girls, 6 to 18 years oldregardless of their basketball experience.
The groups will be small and the training program will be adapted according to the level and age of the children.
PURPOSE
The basic purpose, which is in harmony with the general philosophy of the Academy, is to give the children the opportunity to:
- To use their time pleasantly and creatively by playing and having fun safely.
- To improve their individual technique, physical condition and general abilities.
- To gain more knowledge and experience about basketball.
- To create new acquaintances and friendships based on common interests.
- To consolidate principles and values such as cooperation, discipline, responsibility, teamwork, loyalty to a cause, camaraderie and solidarity.

The basketball program includes:
- Strength program
- Individual level specialization program to improve attacking skills
- Shooting improvement training
- Basic defensive technique
- Individual and group defense principles
- Ball-handling, dribbling and passing variations
- Finishes on the basket under pressure
- Spiritual preparation
- Variations of the dribble with effective application in the game
- Learning the technical execution of the shot after dribbling and after unmarking and passing.
CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION
After completing the registration form, every child must present the athlete’s health card or a corresponding cardiologist’s certificate on the first day of participation in the camp.

LIMITED NUMBER OF SEATS – STRICT PRIORITY ORDER WILL BE OBSERVED
A necessary condition is the consent of the interested parties in the documents-requested for the personal data included on the relevant website.
Selected participants will be asked to sign with the Basketball Academy Club, upon their first appearance and prior to participation, respective declarations of participation and consent.
The offer to the members of the TEE concerns the free participation of up to 330 children, with priority order for filling the places based on the order in which the applications are sent. The distribution of seats is set at 80 participants for the Athens camp and 50 participants for the camps of the other cities.
