The Telde City Council will hold this Friday, October 20, at 8:30 a.m., an Extraordinary Plenary Session for the approval of a credit modification file, through extraordinary credits and credit supplements, for the amount of 5,968,107.77 euros.
It is an economic procedure that began in the previous mandate of the then mayor Carmen Hernández and that, after its plenary approval, will be exposed to the public for 15 days so that it can be examined by interested parties and present any claims they consider appropriate.
This file will be considered definitively approved if no claims are presented during the public exhibition period, in accordance with the provisions of the aforementioned article 179 of the Consolidated Text of the Law Regulating Local Treasury. 2. After its publication summarized by chapters in the Official Gazette of the Province, it will come into force.
Miscellaneous expenses
This is a budget modification to allocate to the 2023 financial year part of the Treasury Remaining resulting from the Liquidation of the 2022 Budget for the payment of public debt, expenses that cannot be postponed or that are pending application to the budget.
Among the credit additions are the payment of late payment interest, work carried out by companies and professionals, legal and litigation, as well as investments in land through mediation and fair pricing agreements, infrastructure and natural assets, as well as water, among others.
Of the total of 5,968,107.77 euros, 5,119,125.23 correspond to current expenses on goods and services, 478,176.20 to financial expenses and 370,806.34 euros to real investments.
NC announces its favorable vote
Nueva Canarias announces through a statement that it will approve the credit modification file for extraordinary supplements in the Plenary Session this Friday, a procedure that began during its time in the local government. Likewise, the Canaristas are pleased that the file initiated in the previous stage continues its processing, since it is necessary so that the different municipal departments can strengthen their positions.
The government group chaired by NC settled the 2022 budget in April with a surplus of 79,328,550.45 euros, a positive balance for the seventh consecutive year that is the result of the responsible and rigorous management with which the path of the economic recovery of the Institution in 2015, recalls the training.
In the month of May, a communication was sent to all services to submit a request for credits in accordance with article 11 of the bases for execution of the Budget and current regulations, together with a supporting report containing the list of specific expenses and their need, the reasons why they could not wait for another year and that they do not have money in their current allocations to meet these needs, they explain.
Once the reports of the different services that have taken advantage of this possibility – economic and financial body, Legal Advice, Sports, Mobile Park, Water, Parks and Gardens, Fountains, Roads and Works, Beaches and Heritage – were sent, the City Council began a extraordinary credit generation file.
The new municipal government, after the Intervention audit, has only had to validate this file in the Local Government Board to submit it to the different groups for consultation for ten days and, subsequently, submit it to the Plenary Session for its initial approval, which will occur this Friday, October 20. “This confirms our thesis raised in the appearance of the 100 days of government that we find ourselves facing a government of inertia four months after taking office,” they say from NC.
In this way, the Nueva Canarias municipal group remembers that public services can continue to be improved thanks to the good political direction since 2015 in Telde and the great work carried out by the economic area, which have allowed the city to move forward with firm steps and face with greater security and strength the next challenges.
