SV Tell Heroldsbach Crowns New Shooting Royalty for 2026

A vibrant tradition continued on January 10, 2026, as the SV Tell Heroldsbach shooting club celebrated its annual royal proclamation, recognizing top marksmen and markswomen. A total of 56 participants competed in the 2026 royal shooting, culminating in a festive evening of recognition and celebration.

A Night of Competition and Recognition

The event showcased exceptional skill across various disciplines. Erik Eichinger distinguished himself early in the competition, securing the Sparkasse challenge cup for youth after a challenging contest. Awards were also presented for the best master series and the best lucky shot, highlighting the diverse talents within the club.

Several shooters demonstrated remarkable precision. Laura Andrea Henschel achieved the highest youth championship series score with 84.3 rings, while Helena Gößwein led the women with an impressive 99.9 rings. Among the men, Alfred Rösch claimed victory with an outstanding score of 100.4 rings. The coveted KILIAN GRAF VON BENTZEL-STURMFEDER PRIZE was awarded to Markus Henschel for his exceptional lucky shot, registering a score of 24.8.

Enthronement of the 2026 Royal Court

The highlight of the evening was the formal proclamation of the new royal court. Erik Eichinger was crowned the new youth king for 2026, achieving a score of 114.6, with Laura Andrea Henschel named youth viceroy. Ana-Maria Thomas ascended to the title of shooting queen, posting a score of 129, surpassing Julia Brütting’s score of 180.4. The new shooting king for 2026 is Klaus Saam, who won with a score of 149, and Alfred Rösch was named viceroy with a divisor of 182.6.

A photograph capturing the newly crowned royalty – including first board member Alfred Rösch, shooting king Klaus Saam, youth shooting king Erik Eichinger, shooting queen Ana-Maria Thomas, and second shooting master Felix Mühlmann – was taken by a private photographer.

Following the enthronement ceremony, the new “majesties” were celebrated with a lively atmosphere and dancing that continued late into the night, continuing a beloved annual tradition.
