Leading stars and directors of the Telugu film industry met Chief Minister Jaganmohan Reddy in person and demanded that the limit on film fees be removed.
They asked to be allowed to set the fee of their choice. Many Telugu film personalities including actors Chiranjeevi, Maheshbabu, Bhagwati Prabhas and director Rajamavuli came to Vijayawada by private plane from Hyderabad.
From there, with heavy police security, the stars were taken to the Amravati camp where the Chief Minister was staying. There they met Chief Minister Jaganmohan Reddy and filed a petition.
