The maintenance work is scheduled to take place from 9:45 am to 4:00 pm on October 10, 2023. As a result, several areas will experience the absence of drinking water during this period.
The affected areas include Marakadai, Virakupet, Malaikottai, Chintamani, Thillanagar, Annanagar, Puthar, Kajapet Cantonment, Junction, Uyyakandan Thirumalai, South Ramalinga Nagar, Alpha Nagar, Fatima Nagar, Karumandapam, Kajamalai Colony, Ayyallamman Padithura Collector Well Water Works in Lumnagar, Bari Nagar, Old Border, Kaverinagar, Ganeshnagar, Santhoshnagar, Alatur, KK Fort, Pratiyur Koot water supply in Ramji Nagar, Pratiyur, Edamalaipattipudur, Viswasnagar, Jayanagar, and Pratiyur Kaverinagar.
However, normal drinking water distribution is set to resume from October 12, 2023. The Tiruchirappalli Corporation Commissioner urges residents to cooperate with the Corporation during this period of inconvenience and use drinking water prudently.
