Beloved Dublin Matriarch, Terri Collins, Passes Away at Home

A cherished member of the Rathfarnham community, Terri Collins (née Murphy), passed away peacefully at her home on February 9th, 2026, surrounded by her family. The loss is deeply felt by a large and loving network of relatives and friends, marking the end of a life dedicated to family and community.

Terri Collins, a resident of Ballyroan Crescent, Dublin 16, was the beloved wife of Tom and a devoted mother to Louise, Elaine, Suzanne, and Gemma. She leaves behind a legacy of love extended to her eleven grandchildren – Shane, Laoise, Jack, Rachel, Lucy, Joseph, Holly, Oliver, Muireann, and Arwen – and four great-grandchildren: Harry, Sam, Micheál, and Hannah. She is also survived by her brothers, Noel and Joseph, and remembered fondly by her late brother, Jim.

A Life Celebrated: Reposing and Funeral Arrangements

The family will receive visitors at her home, located at postal code D16 Y6T3, on Thursday evening from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, offering an opportunity for friends and neighbors to pay their respects. A Requiem Mass will be held on Friday at 10:00 AM at The Church of the Holy Spirit in Ballyroan, celebrating Terri’s life and contributions.

Following the Mass, a private funeral service will take place at Mount Venus Cemetery, located on Mount Venus Road in Rathfarnham. The family has requested that those wishing to express their condolences share their memories and support through a dedicated online link.
