South of Yerevan, the capital city of Armenia, is a market called Surmalu. There was a large number of people buying things in the evening. Then the firecrackers there burst and there was a terrible fire. As a result, the entire area appeared as a smoke zone.
One person died on the spot in the accident. Also, 51 people were injured. The fire department was immediately informed about the incident.
After this, the firemen who came in a hurry fought and brought the fire under control. Also, they were involved in rescuing people trapped in the building ruins.
