Now that it’s official and final, Tesla has added the option to order the vehicles and pay with the DogeCoin digital currency, now it will be possible to find the currency symbol next to the “Order” button for payment via currency.
To purchase through DogeCoin at the Tesla Store, you will need a “Dogecoin Wallet”. This wallet is a device, platform, app or software that supports dogecoin transfers. When checking out with the currency, the payment page will display the “address” of the Tesla Dogecoin wallet in both an alphanumeric code and a QR code form so that you can log in to your Dogecoin wallet to transfer the Dogecoin. It is the buyer’s responsibility to make sure that the coin is transferred to Tesla’s Dogecoin wallet accurately.

All eligible Tesla products will be clearly priced at DogeCoin. This price will include all applicable taxes. The timer on the payments page will show the amount of time available to you to complete the payment. If the time expires, you will need to restart the ordering process. If the order process is reactivated, your alphanumeric code or QR, Dogecoin wallet address and / or DogeCoin price may be updated.
Please note that if the incorrect amount of DogeCoin is transferred, your order may be canceled. If an order has been overpaid at DogeCoin, the overpayment amount will not be refunded to the original form of payment. By the way, Tesla can not accept payments from multiple wallets for a single order.
It will take one minute for the payments page to refresh after sending your DogeCoin payment. Do not try to make a new payment while the page is refreshing. Once the payment is confirmed through the DogeCoin network you will receive an order confirmation email. It may take up to six hours for the DogeCoin network to confirm the buyer’s payment. If no confirmation is received by email from Tesla, please contact the digital wallet provider. Payment may need to be re-paid.
Once you place an order using DogeCoin as your means of payment, you can no longer cancel it. All purchases in the Dogecoin wallet are on final sale. Items purchased through it may not be returned, exchanged or canceled. Items purchased through DogeCoin, the only currency the Company receives, cannot be returned or exchanged
