Teyana Taylor is celebrating a major win after One Battle After Another took home the Best Picture award at the 31st Annual Critics Choice Awards on Sunday. The film,also featuring Chase Infiniti and Leonardo DiCaprio,resonated with audiences and critics alike,culminating in this prestigious honor.
Taylor shared her excitement in an Instagram post on Monday,writing,”It costs nothing to clap for your people,especially when it’s rooted in genuine love! Wow,what a night. We did it!! While Taylor was nominated for Best Supporting Actress, the award ultimately went to Amy Madigan for her performance in Weapons. Though, the evening was still a resounding success for One Battle After Another, with Paul Thomas Anderson securing wins for both Best Director and Best Adapted Screenplay.
taylor’s celebratory weekend extended beyond the Critics Choice Awards. On Saturday, January 3, she received the Creative Impact & Breakthrough Performance Award at the Palm Springs International Film Awards.
