The World Team Chess Championship organized in Tsaghkadzor has ended. Thanks to the technical support of VivaCell-MTS, its entire process was available to chess fans online.
Participants and journalists of the 2015 World Men’s Chess Team Championship were provided with high-speed Internet connection from April 18-29. In order to organize this important championship in Tsaghkadzor, VivaCell-MTS provided Internet access to the gaming hall of the Golden Palace Resort Hotel in Tsaghkadzor, provided a powerful server, thanks to which the website www.wtcc2015.am was functioning. The leading telecommunication operator of Armenia also supported with full technical service.
Thanks to advanced broadband Internet connection technologies provided by VivaCell-MTS and Internet speed up to 1000 Mbps, chess lovers in different corners of the world had the opportunity to watch the tournament online. Thanks to high-speed Internet, it was possible to upload images and videos about the tournament and make them available to the general public. Chess lovers had the opportunity to follow the course of the tournament, every step of the players, from a place of their choice.
During the days of the tournament, VivaCell-MTS employees monitored the work of the network and, if necessary, provided technical support for the participants and guests.
Let’s remind that the chess teams of Armenia, Russia, China, India, USA, Egypt, Ukraine, Cuba, Hungary and Israel participated in the 2015 World Chess Men’s Team Championship.
