The review will take place until 21 August at the Castello di Introd

Great debut for the 14th edition of Spazi_d’ascolto: the historic festival hosted at the Castello d’Introd will open tomorrow at 9.15 pm with the monologue “The courtesy of the non-sellers” by Giuseppe Cederna, actor, writer published by Feltrinelli and traveler, who goal and the other has become one of the protagonists of the Made in Italy series. At the Romanesque castle he will propose a reflection focused on the depth of things and their role in sculpting our life with indelible imprints.

The depth of which the festival curated by Enrico Montrosset is rich: between music and words, the research is that of art. An art understood, in the words of Montrosset himself, not only as «the one with the supposed capital A, the one that takes pride in it, the one towards which it is opportune to deference. This, like others, is a form of idolatry and as such has value only for its faithful. No, authentic art wishes to appeal to everyone, to hug everyone, to infect everyone, without making too much noise it wants to change, not to be ».

So Thursday, August 19 continues with the presentation of the book “The Return of the Prophet” by Gilles Kepel. The well-known scholar of the Middle East, internationally recognized as a great expert on political Islam, here takes a look at the America between Trump and Biden, at the pandemic situation and at the collapse of the oil price, to then identify the key to understanding of current dynamics in the Mediterranean and the Middle East. The meeting organized in collaboration with the Briviodue bookshop in Aosta and moderated by Giles Gressani, director of the magazine “Grand Continent” and president of the Groupe d’études géopolitiques of the École norma supérieure, will be followed at 9.15 pm by the Omero / Odissea recital. The volcanic mix of words, sounds and lights conceived by the Valeriano Galli acquired Aosta Valley actor, will overwhelm even the less passionate spectators of the genre, just like the sea storms did with Ulysses. Continuously playing on different levels he combines Vasco Rossi and the barbarian spirit, the simplicity of the theater with the soul of women, savior of the world.

Same format for the double appointment on Friday 20 August. At 5.30 pm the presentation of the book “Geni dell’ombra, stories of great minds to whom the idea was blown”, a process between unknown personalities who, having finished second, should have been first. The curiosity? It is written by two scientists who have chosen the path of communication: they are Milly Barba and Debora Serra. At 9.15 pm instead the show “The infinite non ending”, interpreted on saxophone by Gavino Murgia, who brought his Sardinian soul to the biggest international jazz festivals, and Marcello Fois, award-winning writer who already in 1992 won the Italo Calvino Prize .

The closing of the review is set for Saturday 21 August with the show at 9.45 pm: a live audiovisual performance born during the lockdown from the minds of the Otolab cultural association in Milan. It is called “Ot-e” and involves the spectator at 360 °, as in the afternoon at 17:30 the Carpa Diem circus did with “Doppio Zero”, a funny journey through time, feelings and song.

Admission is subject to a fee and the possession of the green pass is mandatory. For information call 329 9435457.
