Daughter of Gomez and Morticia Addams and sister of Pugsley, Wednesday Friday Addams (this is the full name) is a fictional character created in 1940 by Charlie Addams as a member of the Addams family. Made iconic by Christina Ricci in the two films of the early 90s, Wednesday embodies a model of an alternative and unconventional girl and even her appearance – her pale complexion and long black hair gathered in two side braids – reflects her dark personality and vaguely threatening, but also intelligent and sagacious, capable of nailing down the interlocutor (or rather, the viewer) with his serious and determined gaze.
