This specialist in mammograms and tests has bought two French companies in three years.
It is a brand new building of 2000 m2 located in a business area of Aix-en-Provence. The American Hologic, which specializes in women’s health (medical imaging, diagnostics, surgery, etc.), has chosen France to set up its new innovation center, the eighth in the world, which will employ a hundred people. It will be dedicated to ultrasound technology, used both in diagnosis (biopsies, etc.) and screening (medical imaging, etc.).

Hologic, whose products and services are used by radiologists and medical biologists, will design tomorrow’s mammographs, molecular tests and software for use around the world. “Our ambition is to extend our offer of innovative technologies in order to help healthcare professionals detect, diagnose and treat diseases as early and as effectively as possible”, explains Antoine Bara, General Manager of Hologic France.
