Against the background of the recruitment of reserve soldiers for the war in Ukraine, activists of the “Party of the Dead” placed an angry note on the graves of Russian President Putin’s parents in St. Petersburg. The note reads: “Your son is missing history lessons, fights with his friends and threatens to blow up the school”
Activists of the “Party of the Dead”, which opposes Russian President Vladimir Putin and the war in Ukraine, placed a note of protest on the graves of President Putin’s parents in St. Petersburg, and wrote to the dead parents that they hope the parents: “will take the child for themselves someday.”
The Party of the Dead is a party with anti-war principles, which recently has been investing its best efforts in the fight against Russia and its war in Ukraine. The party’s home page reads: “The Party of the Dead consists of all the dead and all the living are future members of the party.”
The party was outraged by Russian President Putin’s announcement that the army would start recruiting 300,000 reservists for the fight in Ukraine, and decided to take a particularly creative action.
Yesterday the party activists arrived at the cemetery in St. Petersburg, where Vladimir and Maria, the parents of President Putin, are buried. Before they left, they left a note over the graves of Putin’s parents, which read: “Dear parents! Your son is behaving in a disgraceful way: he misses history lessons, fights with his friends and threatens to blow up the school.”
The poignant message conveyed in this interesting and creative way drew enthusiastic reactions from the party’s supporters and made many laugh. The Party of the Dead published the letter on social media, and wrote that: “This morning, a group of people appealed to the parents of a child demanding that educational measures be taken against their son. The appeal was left at the cemetery in Petersburg. We hope that the parents of this object will one day return it to themselves.”
