RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan gave an interview to British The Telegraph, addressing a number of current issues. He announced this on his Facebook page, publishing the announcement video of the interview.

“The statements that the President of Azerbaijan made in an interview with Azerbaijani television stations in early January 2024, I also publicly assessed it as a blow to the peace process. But that strike itself is not an isolated process and it started first with ethnic cleansing in Nagorno-Karabakh, secondly with the rejection of the Granada meeting, then with the rejection of the Brussels meeting and also with the rejection of further meetings,” Pashinyan said.

The journalist was interested in what point the countries have reached in the process of the settlement of Armenian-Azerbaijani relations and the signing of the peace treaty and why the signing is delayed.

“The architecture and principles of the peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan have been agreed upon. At the end of last year, it seemed to us that we were very close to finally agreeing on the text of the final agreement,” said the Prime Minister.

It should be noted that the interview will be broadcast today at 21:50.
