In the last match of the qualifying round of the 2016 European Championship, the Armenian national team lost to the Albanian national team. The match at the “Republican” stadium ended with a score of 0:3.

In the 9th minute, the guests’ midfielder Shkelzen Gashi shot towards the goal guarded by Gevorg Kasparov, Kamo Hovhannisyan tried to remove the ball from the goal line, but failed, and Hovhannisyan scored a goal.
